michigan marijuana legalization milegalize

This is an email sent from the MILegalize campaign to their supporters, reproduced here to let readers know the result of an event promoted on this site. ~R.T.

On May 11, supporters of MI Legalize showed up in full force to contribute to our campaign in the Eleventh Hour.  We raised over $15,000 yesterday and each dollar will be matched!  We had an incredible turn out in Ann Arbor at Dominick’s.  The energy was incredible and we had speeches from NHL great Larry DePalma, State Rep. Jeff Irwin, several board members, and also Chad Morrow, a recent victim of the oppressive cannabis laws in Michigan.

Auction items such as an autographed James Brown Vinyl, vintage High Times memorabilia, and many other collectibles.

One of our most avid and effective volunteers also hand-crafted a beautiful walking stick that sold at auction for over $500!

All of this money will be spent on signatures so we can finish strong at the end of this month! If you need petitions and want to collect signatures for us, NOW IS THE TIME!!! Send us an email with your street address atinfo@milegalize.com or helpinghandsforbusypeople@gmail.com.  We need as many signatures as we can get. Now is the time to help us!

We will be hosting another fundraiser up in Alcona County this Saturday with the help of MINORML! Please come out if you are in the area to support us and enjoy a great night with some great people!

Saturday from 5 PM- 8 PM
