Advertise Your Marijuana Related Company On The Weed Blog

advertise marijuana hemp cannabis growing books the weed blogEveryone and their grandma is scrambling to get into the marijuana industry right now, and for good reason. The marijuana industry is growing faster than any other industry in America right now, and there is no end to that growth in site. When someone considers the fact that there are only four legal marijuana states right now (and D.C.) it’s not hard to see that we are just barely scratching the surface. As reform spreads, business opportunities will be close behind. I’ll use this opportunity to encourage all marijuana industry members to support reform, and in a meaningful way. If you don’t, you will never get the support of the marijuana community because after all, if you weren’t there for the struggle, you won’t be there for the reward in the opinions of most marijuana consumers.

Since the very beginning of The Weed Blog, which launched in January of 2010, our main focus has been on activism. We have worked with just about every reform organization and campaign since 2010, and will continue to fight for reform as long as this blog exists. All of the members of The Weed Blog team have been negatively affected by cannabis prohibition, and we will always fight until no one has to experience the injustice of prohibition ever again.

Lately we have been focusing a little bit more attention on the cannabis industry as America, and the globe, begin to transition away from prohibition. The marijuana industry is a very exciting thing to be a part of, and all of the members of The Weed Blog team love working with entrepreneurs and watching them chase their dreams. After all, that’s part of what we are doing here at the blog too. But because the marijuana industry is so exciting and popular, it’s also crowded, and it’s getting more and more crowded everyday. You need to have an effective branding and marketing strategy in order to stand out. Otherwise you will just be another name on a list somewhere that no one is interested in, no matter how good your products are.

For a very long time cannabis companies just needed to simply exist, and they would do quite well in most areas. That’s because there weren’t a lot of other options out there. If you live in a state where marijuana businesses are allowed, I’d imagine you see them all over the place. And that doesn’t include the gardens that you don’t see, and all of the ancillary businesses that are in operation. Every cannabis business needs eyeballs to their products and/or services, and that’s where The Weed Blog can help.

The Weed Blog consistently ranks at the top of online marijuana media outlets. Unlike our competitors, who have dozens of employees, corporate backing, and are located in traditional media cities, The Weed Blog is just a small team of people in Oregon that love the plant. We are activists first, business people second, and we think that’s why we have had a lot of success. We understand the average cannabis consumer because after all, we are longtime cannabis consumers ourselves. We don’t do this to reap enormous profits to appease a Board of Directors. We are an independent media outlet, and are proud to be the David versus all of the Goliaths out there. We believe in a moral, responsible business model and only endorse products and services that we truly believe in.

If you are a cannabis business owner and are looking to get your product or service in front of consumers, The Weed Blog can help. Not only would your dollars go farther with The Weed Blog compared to other options, but your dollars will be funding our activism, and not the pockets of corporate interests which are not always in line with the true spirit of the cannabis community. It’s truly a win-win for everyone involved. Below is a testimonial from a business that advertised with The Weed Blog:

“Thank you so much for all your marketing support for the Cannabis Creative Conference!  The blogs you posted were our #1 marketing for the Event.  We doubled our attendance goal.  I come from traditional marketing and this event was an entirely new industry for me.  I heard about the Weed Blog several times- but was not sure what the results would be.

I tracked that every Cannabis Creative Conference blog that the Weed Blog posted was re-posted to over 50 other blogs- that is amazing!  Hundreds of our attendees marked the “how heard” from the Weed Blog.  This is truly the best marketing money that we could have spent.  We are excited to partner with you on ALL of our upcoming events and shows.” - Mary Lou Burton, Cannabis Creative Conference (www.cannabiscreativeconference.com)

Whether you want to advertise locally, nationally, or internationally, The Weed Blog can help. We have a rate card that we can provide, and we can also customize advertising packages to get the most eyeballs to your products and/or services. Most cannabis media outlets only offer a couple of options that are a ‘one-size-fits-all’ form of advertising, which obviously doesn’t work for everyone. An advertising campaign that works for a handheld vaporizer won’t necessarily work for a recreational store. The Weed Blog has data and content going back farther than most other marijuana media websites, and we know what works. As I stated, we are a very small group of people that make up The Weed Blog, and we know first hand how to get more from less.

If you want to learn more about advertising with The Weed Blog, including ad rates, packages, traffic stats, etc., send an e-mail to kaliko@theweedblog.com. Whether you are a recreational store owner, dispensary owner, edible company, concentrate company, real estate company, tourism company, job finder, headshop owner, attorney, doctor, consultant, grow equipment store, author, inventor, event organizer, any other type of cannabis company, or even a non-cannabis company that just wants to market to the cannabis demographic, we look forward to hearing from you, and appreciate the support! Legalize it!
