Arkansas Medical Marijuana Statewide Sign And Drive Event Today And Tomorrow

Arkansas medical marijuanaI received the following alert from the Arkansas campaign. If you are in the area, I suggest you come out and show your support:

Arkansans for Compassionate Care is hosting a statewide Drive & Sign event at more than 100 locations across the state Friday and Saturday. And we need YOUR help!

If you haven’t had a chance to sign the petition or know family and friends that haven’t signed, please stop by and sign the petition and help us spread the word about this important event. You must be a registered voter in Arkansas to sign.

Visit our Drive & Sign page to see locations across the state to sign at more than 100 locations Friday & Sat.

Help us pass medical cannabis in Arkansas by sharing our event on Facebook, forwarding this email to your contacts and urging your friends and family to Drive up and Sign the petition.

We’ll have Drive & Sign booths setup across the state Friday April 15 & Saturday the 16th. It’s a quick and convenient way to put your name down on the petition. We now have more than 73,000 signatures, 5,000 more than the bare number required to make the ballot. But we’ll need to shoot this number higher to account for any invalid signatures. We’d like to collect at least another 40,000 signatures in the next two months.

We’ve been collecting signatures since September of 2014, so if you’ve signed since then please do not sign again.

We’re on our way to making the ballot, but we’ll need YOUR help to make this happen. Please Drive up and Sign our petition! And urge your family and friends to sign too! With YOUR help we’ll collect thousands of signatures Friday and Saturday. Please Share!

PS. Can you help spread the word about our statewide Sign & Drive event with Medical Cannabis Signing locations at more than 100 spots across the state!

More power to you but how do you intend to get around your attorney general when she has rejected the proposed ballot initiative 9 times? I hope you can.

In backward states like Arkansas, it is difficult to even get a restrictive medical marijuana program passed.

Arkansas allows citizen’s initiatives. so when it comes to trusting the voters to decide, Arkansas isn’t as backwards as New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, New Jersey and other more liberal states.
