cops law enforcement special needs students entrapmentI just read a horrific story out of Baltimore, where a man was cavity searched during a drug search, during which no drugs were found. This is a story that every drug war supporter should be forced to read and explain. This is not the first time someone has been cavity searched during a drug investigation, but it’s the first one I’ve heard of that was done in public for everyone to see. Per The Free Thought Project:

Jermaine Lyons was riding his bike on May 3, 2013 on his way to the park when he was stopped at a store in the 200 block of North Highland Avenue.

According to the lawsuit, police asked Lyons if he had any drugs on him, to which he responded, “no.”

However the police did not believe him. Baltimore Police proceeded to pull down this man’s pants, spread his legs, and conduct a cavity search in the middle of the sidewalk in full view of passersby, according to the lawsuit.

“It’s as simple and outlandish as it appears,” said Isaac Klein, attorney for Lyons. Lyons “was embarrassed and outraged.”

Stories like this break my heart. This man’s life is ruined. Even after he wins his lawsuit, how can he ever shake off the embarrassment and shame of being publicly humiliated like that? If it were me, I know I wouldn’t ever be able to face my peers in my neighborhood after they saw something like that happen to me. I hope Mr. Lyons wins so much money that it sends a message to every crooked member of law enforcement in America that this will not be tolerated. Shame on the Baltimore police officers that did this.

What’s with the gustopo tactics. Those police have no right. If they thought he had drugs then arrest under suspicion take him to jail. Search in a room. What a huge abuse of power. This is what probition is creating. It’s police thinking they can do whatever they want and get away with it.

Sorry, Johnny ,But the cops will not be sent any kind of message because it wont cost them a dime regardless of a rightfully huge settlement. The taxpayer foots the bill . To make a difference, law enforcements limited immunity must be removed so they can be charged like the rapists they are, serve their time in general population, and be required to register as sex offenders. Now that would send a message .Until then the jack-booted thugs will continue act with impunity knowing they will never be held accountable.

Sadly, so true ! There are many cases of such abuse of authority and the complete disregard for the public they are meant to “Protect and Serve” with no danger of being called to account over their actions !!

Perhaps the swine thought Lyons was smuggling truffles.

    “Prohibition…
goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man’s
appetite by legislation and makes a crime out of things that are not
crimes… A prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon
    which our government was founded.”

I would not mind being cavity searched by a hot female officer or 2

Back in the Mid-90’s there was an NYPD officer (Volpe) an apparently a mentally deranged cop, who conducted a cavity search at the 70th Precinct, Brooklyn.
The officer in question used the “Wooden end of a toilet plunger” to conduct the search. I was informed that there was blood everywhere. No one said a word, even after hearing the screams coming from the holding pen, which was on the first floor of the precinct, an lobby area open to the public. They finally took the man to the hospital, (Coney Island Hospital, Brooklyn). Still no one said anything, cops, Dr’s. techs, etc.. It wasn’t until an E R nurse contacted the newspapers and reported it. It was my understanding that no one would listen to her at the Hosp. So she called the press. The man needed, I think 2-3 surgeries to correct the physical damage to his colon. The man arrested was Gay, perhaps the officer was homophobic (ya think), but they used the cavity search as a reason. After all was said and done, a large lawsuit was settled, the officer was convicted on an array of charges and is now still in prison, and quit a few officers lost there jobs a couple more went to jail or probation ( as it should be) for attempting to cover up this injustice. You can Google the whole story,,, using ,, Volpe,,NYPD,,wooden stick,, etc.
The truly odd thing to this was that, it did not come to light until about a week after it happened. It was one big cover up, from the NYPD and the Hosp. What I cant figure out is as to why the Hospital would have any justifiable reason to suppress this injury and ignore the cause of it. I would venture to say that the officer in question is having a wonderful time in prison, with an assortment of objects sticking out of his ass, Or a subject of phallus intrusion.
    Ps. NO DRUGS WERE FOUND.
