Steve Elliot has major anger issues so this doesn’t surprise me. One of the biggest asshats I’ve had the displeasure to correspond with on the net. I told him his childlike handling of any sort of criticism would get him in trouble eventually. Not a nice person at all. I haven’t visited his site in months and have told anybody who will listen that he treats his readers like dirt. KARMA

Petty sh*t like this is why I no longer watch the Russ Belville show.

Sign the White House “We The People” petition to legalize marijuana at the federal level. cut the black market in half. take $$ away from the drug cartels. stop making non-violent Americans criminals. legalize and regulate like alcohol and tobacco. create a brand new industry for our crippled economy. the majority of Americans, Law Enforcement Against Prohibition and the American Medical Association agree – PROHIBITION DOES NOT WORK!

    It takes only two minutes!

I would first like to know what makes Steve Bloom an expert on Steve Elliott’s personal life. Was Russ unable to get in touch with either of the involved parties directly? I don’t think exposing dirty laundry in our movement is beneficial, but if Steve Bloom feels that is his job, he has many friends in high places (pun intended) with a whole lot of dirt of their own. Let’s take Rob Kampia, for example. He’s been accused of repeated sexual misconduct. The only reason he wasn’t charged is that MPP staffers had the good sense to leave cops and prosecutors out of it. Where were Bloom’s investigative reports on Kampia? What about an expose’ on the cocaine use with Keith Stroup that led to the resignation of a high-level adviser to the Nixon and Carter Administrations? Bloom’s not as interested in exposing that story, eh? The charge against Elliott has yet to be proven. Point being: If every accusation leveled by the MMJ community were published on Bloom’s blog, we’d all be in trouble and Bloom would need to hire about a dozen assistants to keep up on all the gossip. Forget about Sabet, Nixon and Hearst – WE are our own worst enemy.

I used to visit Toke of the Town before I-502 was voted into law – I supported the initiative. TOTT’s writers and editors were against the measure and I commented on TOTT’s reasons to oppose. I asked questions and stated that most of their arguments were speculative. I tried to be civil but, Steve Elliot eventually banned me from commenting further. Steve Sarrich was also spouting off with alarmist views against I-502 on TOTT accompanied by his small following of trolls. I thought that the entire site’s integrity was compromised by behavior that would make Fox News proud.

I have not been back to TOTT and never will. My impression of Steve Elliot is not positive and the same now goes for TOTT. It does not surprise me that Steve Elliot is having problems, he seems to be having a difficult time controlling his emotions. I can’t see TOTT lasting much longer given that Steve Elliot is on the verge…

Here’s Steve Bloom again carrying water for NORML. Steve Bloom is bashing Steve Elliot because Elliot dared to speak out against I-502 and other ill-conceived “legalization” measures backed by NORML. A man is innocent until proven guilty and Bloom is without a clue in this regard. He previously repeated somewhat similar falsehoods about me, so his conduct here comes as no surprise to me.
