I came across the following event on Facebook. It sounds very cool. Who doesn’t want to learn more about cannabis science?:

OG Analytical presents: Cannabis Science Pub!
A FREE monthly educational series on the science of Cannabis.

Join OG Analytical every last Tuesday at Cozmic as we explore the science of Cannabis. Play trivia to earn fun prizes and learn cool facts, hear a panel of speakers, see educational presentations, and participate in discussion with Cannabis Industry professionals. Each session is followed by an hour of networking – ask questions, get resources, and have a beer with the fun folks at OG Analytical!

**February 23rd: Genetics**

Genetics play an intricate role in the outcome of a cannabis cultivar. At our Feburary Cannabis Science Pub, hear from experts in the field of cannabis genetics. Dr. Mowgli Holmes of Phylos Bioscience will give us the breakdown on the Cannabis Evolution Project, the first ever study of the cannabis genome, and Dr. Dennis Todd, Biology Professor at the University of Oregon will give us the basics of genetics and inheritance, inlcuding why seeds from the same two parents can have many different genotypes.

When they are talking PhD level, I will be interested. But even then, it will be mostly redundant for me.
Scratch all the social nonsense while your at it.
