If you are in the area, there is a smoke out going on in Boise, Idaho on January 1st. Below are more details via the event’s Facebook page:

On January 1st, 2016, we will meet on the capitol steps and peacefully assemble to celebrate the New Year by using our constitutionally protected voices to demand reform of Idaho’s outdated marijuana laws.

This will be an act of civil disobedience, and we will light up at 4:20pm in protest of Idaho’s current policies, asking the question once again…
“WHO ARE WE HURTING?”

Please bring a protest sign demanding reform of Marijuana Laws in Idaho! And BYOB (Bring Your Own Bud)

As always, this is an opportunity to sign New Approach Idaho’s Medical Marijuana Petition. www.LegalizeIdaho.com

Participation in any acts of civil disobedience are not required to attend. As with all events, all families are welcome. However, for safety concerns (regarding police & Child Protective Services, not the marijuana) we suggest that you leave your minor children at home.

**Dress Warmly & Don’t Forget Your Gloves!

Now that’s what I’ve been ranting about, Johnny! Thank you for sharing! (Although that first link you provided–“www.LegalizeIdaho.com”–takes one to a generic “Go Daddy” page. A subsequent Google search of those words did find New Approach Idaho’s site at www [dot] legalize208 [dot] org.)

  2.

Wishing LegalizeIdaho the best of luck. If you can get politicians, policemen, prosecutors, judges and members of their families and friends to join in the civil disobedience so much better.

Say hi to Bill . I hope Idaho is seeking a legalization model much like Oregon adopted .
