Tomorrow, our campaign is hitting the airwaves with our first ad! And as one of our core supporters, we are giving you a sneak preview.

We released this ad just before Mother’s Day, as it portrays a young woman sharing her thoughts about the use of marijuana and alcohol with her mother. Our hope is that it will inspire thousands of mothers and daughters in the state to have conversations about marijuana this weekend.

In order for Amendment 64 to pass in November, we need people who understand marijuana to talk about it with people who don’t. We need our supporters to help other Coloradans appreciate that marijuana is not “bad;” it is simply a less harmful and acceptable alternative to alcohol.

    They’ve got the best of intentions and I admire Colorado’sテつinitiative, but the commercial was very lacking. :/

    My initial reaction was, a little shocked. テつThen I watched it again and I thought, hot chick. The third time I saw it, I absolutely loved it.テつ

    Hopefully they have the money to run the add enough times, and for follow up advertising.テつ

    Maybe the producers of that add should rethink that one. I am a hard core marijuana activist but that commercial makes the other side shake their head and say ” you can tell a pot head made that”. If you want to be taken seriously act serious and tell some serious facts. The truth is on our side when will the hard core case studies and serious ads be broadcasted.

    A sweet innocent sounding hot chick is not theテつ best choice to use to broadcast a serious issue’s message.

    Imagine the potential of this type of campaign if you used Google T.V. Ads. It allows a reach of 1 million viewers for 1k. We need to reach the nation with these type of messages.テつ
