Dont mess with Delaware

Dont mess with DelawareI received the following alert out of Delaware. Neill Franklin is one of my personal heroes. Attend if you are in the area, and spread the word:

I am pleased to inform you that the Coalition to Regulate Cannabis in Delaware is holding a town hall forum on Tuesday, June 7 at 7 p.m. Come join MPP and the coalition where we’ll hear from:

— Neill Franklin — Executive Director, Law Enforcement Against Prohibition
— Tom Donovan — Criminal defense attorney and board member, Cannabis Bureau of Delaware
— Maggie Ellinger-Locke — Legislative Analyst, Marijuana Policy Project
— Linwood Jackson — Radio/TV personality who will serve as moderator

Join us at the New Ark United Church of Christ located at:

300 East Main Street
Newark, DE 19711

We will discuss what it will take to change existing law in Delaware and establish a system of taxation and regulation that treats marijuana like alcohol. Specifics will include the benefits of ending prohibition, successful models from other states, and the specifics of passing legislation in the First State. Please contact Maggie at [email protected] with any questions. And please share this event with your friends and family — we want to share this event announcement with as many people as possible.

See you there!

Maggie Ellinger-Locke
Legislative Analyst
