Justin Bieber Marijuana

If Justin Bieber does utilize cannabis, he is certainly not alone among musicians, and should announce that he is a proud member of the Marijuana Majority.

Photographer Claimed that Justin Bieber was Smoking Marijuana

Musicians across genres have been known to utilize cannabis for both creative and recreational purposes. In fact, without marijuana, music would likely be much more boring than what we have experienced over history.  Louis Armstrong, Willie Nelson, David Bowie, Bob Dylan, the Beatles, the Grateful Dead, Toni Braxton, Queen Latifah, Snoop Dogg, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga and almost an infinite number of musicians have been associated with marijuana in some way or another.  And now, Justin Bieber?

Well, that is the claim made by a member of the paparazzi shortly before he died trying to snap photos of the pop sensation’s Ferrari after it was pulled over by police for speeding.  However, it turned out that Bieber was not in the car at the time, but representatives for the singer haven’t categorically denied that the he was smoking marijuana earlier.

From TMZ:

The photog who was killed taking pics of Justin Bieber‘s car made a call less than an hour before he died, telling someone he was on a big story — because he claimed he saw Justin smoking marijuana while driving.

A source connected with the photo agency for whom Chris Guerra did freelance work tells TMZ … Chris called him at 5:16 Tuesday afternoon.  Chris said, “Man, you won’t believe my luck.  It’s pretty dead in L.A..  Everybody thinks Justin and Selena are in Mexico, but they’re not.”

Chris — who worked exclusively on the Bieber detail — said he had spotted Justin’s car earlier in the day at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills and also saw Selena Gomez’s car there.

Chris went on … claiming he saw Justin earlier in the day smoking what he believed was marijuana from a pipe while driving the Ferrari.

Of course, no one should be smoking while driving and it is a tragedy that a photographer felt that snapping photos of Justin Bieber smoking marijuana and getting pulled over after possibly smoking marijuana to be worth risking his life.  Following the tragic accident, Bieber released the following statement, ”Hopefully this tragedy will finally inspire meaningful legislation and whatever other necessary steps to protect the lives and safety of celebrities, police officers, innocent public bystanders, and the photographers themselves.”

If Justin Bieber is a member of the cannabis community, he should simply come out of the “closet” as a member of the Marijuana Majority.  He wouldn’t be alone among musicians and his ticket and record sales wouldn’t suffer.  Also, members of the paparazzi would then hopefully stop foolishly risking their lives to snap a photo of the young man taking a puff.

My heart goes out to the photographer and his loved ones, it is a shame that our celebrity culture would put such a high price on a picture of Justin Beieber smoking marijuana that anyone would even think about driving fast or crossing dangerous intersections just to get the scoop.  Cannabis, a nontoxic plant that is less dangerous than driving at high speeds trying to snap pictures of famous people smoking cannabis,  will be legal soon enough, hopefully ending the stigma that makes pictures of celebrities utilizing cannabis valuable and worth risking lives over.

It’s not a story. It would be great if folks stopped risking their lives worshipping people. Preteen girls and little gay boys are the only ones who cares what this celebrity is doing.
