2014 is an exciting year for marijuana reform, especially considering it’s a midterm election. Oregon, Alaska, and Washington D.C. are going to be voting on marijuana legalization on Election Day 2014. Oregon voters saw marijuana legalization on the 2012 ballot as well. The initiative was defeated for various reasons, all of which have been improved upon in the 2014 initiative.

Florida voters will be voting on medical marijuana legalization. There are also a number of local elections that involve marijuana reform. One way that you can keep up to date on campaign efforts is to follow the campaigns on Twitter and Facebook. It’s also a great way to help the campaigns, by ‘liking,’ ‘favoriting,’ ‘sharing,’ and ‘retweeting’ things that you see posted.
