If you are in the area, check out below, per the event’s Facebook page:

We are holding a press conference to announce the delivery of our petition and raise awareness for HB722. We will begin interviews and pictures at around 2:30, so arrive early if you can. We need a good turn-out for this, so if it is at all possible, please attend.

The press conference will be in the South Wing inside the Capitol Building.

Speakers will include Sebastien Cotte, Dale Jackson, Representative Micah Gravley, Representative David Clark, Representative Allen PeakeJennifer Conforti, and Vince Sievert.

PLEASE: Dress business, and NO CANNABIS LEAF signs, shirts, flyers, etc. Pictures like this do not help the cause. Also, prepare to be interviewed in order to give clear and accurate information for HB722.

Here is a link to the petition, if you haven’t already, please sign!

Sadly Georgia might say it’s legal for medicine but in 2 years no place in the state to purchase the oil and brining it across state lines is still a FEDERAL offense so come on POLITICIANS how about a medical marijuana bill that really works for our patients!

Jesus said to do unto others as we would have them do unto us. None of us would want our kids put in jail over a little marijuana. None of us would want the police to confiscate and sell our parents’ home because they grew a couple of plants to help with the aches and pains of growing older. Let’s start treating other people the way we would want to be treated.
