How To Help Medical Marijuana Legalization In Arkansas

Arkansas medical marijuanaI received the following alert from the Arkansas medical marijuana campaign:

Arkansans for Compassionate Care volunteers have been working hard over the past year to collect the 138,000 raw signatures needed to make the 2016 ballot. We currently have more than 50,000 signatures and are continuing to collect them daily. But as the months go on, we’ll need to hire professional canvassers to collect the rest. That’s why we need you to chip in $20 or more to help.

We’ve launched an event called Giving Tuesday (Dec 1st) and are calling on all our supporters and friends to donate on this one day event. We’re asking that you pledge to donate now, ask your friends to donate and share our event on Facebook.

It’s critical that during the winter and holiday season, we hire professional canvassers to work full time collecting signatures. We’re confident we can make the ballot and win in 2016, but we’re going to need your help to make it happen.

Can we count on you to donate $20 or more?

With your help, we can get on the ballot sooner and start helping thousands of Arkansas patients and their families.

P.S. Can you donate $20 or more to help Arkansans for Compassionate Care make the ballot and win in 2016?

Really? Legalize in the redneck capitol of the USA? The same rednecks who hate EVERYONE but other rednecks (hippies, gays, !women, blacks, foreigners, etc)! Good luck with that one! When you get close to Arkansas, the neanderthal meter jumps off the scale!

Newsflash–the liberal states aren’t exactly safe either!

Fuck you dude. There is a younger generation that isn’t like all those old people. Not everyone in Arkansas is like that…

Yeah fuck u dude here in Arkansas great bro

      • Social Conservative

Yeah, so where’s your redneck bill for your redneck state now? That’s right, in the trash with all the other attempts at cannabis law reform in your redneck state.

The AMCA website says they need approximately 68,000 registered, valid signatures. Is the much larger number stated above necessary to account for people who sign and aren’t registered voters?

Felons not on probation or perole need to know that they can vote to raise the number of votes
