‘Let’s Talk Terpenes!’ Hosted By The Oregon Cannabis Association

smell marijuanaChances are if you consume marijuana, two of the things you love most about the plant are the taste and smell. There’s just nothing quite like a super fantastic smelling nug of flower. I always like to split the buds in half and give them a pinch to get the full aroma. There seems to be several time s a week when I’ll walk past something that smells like a distinct strain I used to consume, and the smell takes me back in the day instantly.

Most people that I know could be more knowledgeable on the topic of terpenes. Fortunately the Oregon Cannabis Association is putting on an event called ‘Let’s Talk Terpenes!’. The event is very affordable, especially for Oregon Cannabis Association members. If I wasn’t at work during the time of the event, I would absolutely be there. Below are more details, via the event’s Eventbrite page. You can get tickets to the event at this link here:

I don’t get any advantage on the shelf pumping 7% terpene generic vs 3% terpene popular type.

If I took that popular type at 3% and doubled it to 6%, I doubt I’d get much of a premium at sale for it. Unfortunately, its more about “getting a place on the shelf” then it is about “getting a better profit margin” for “better pot”

Well what can I say about terpenes? I love them. Each strain has their own specific aroma and taste. And that’s what terpenes are all about. How to maximize your plants toproduce as much or should I say as many terpenes, flavors and smells that are pleasing to the nose and taste buds.

  • Thanks Johnny! :)
