Marijuana: America’s Fastest Growing Industry

The marijuana industry is taking America by storm, and this is only the tip of the iceberg. By the end of 2016, as many as 20 states could have legalized marijuana. Those reforms will create numerous business opportunities for entrepreneurs. Below is a video of investors gathering at the ArcView Group’s “Arc Tank” event in San Francisco to hear pitches from cannabis-related companies seeking funding. The video was put together by Forbes magazine. It wasn’t that long ago that a media outlet like Forbes would have never considered covering a marijuana industry event. I’m happy to see that times have changed:

If Forbes is involved, you know there’s money being made in the marijuana industry. :-)

Every politician lives for money, I smell burning prohibitionists. DEA families will be out on the streets hooking for truth.

I’m all for legalization but there are way too many greedy money piggie junkies salivating and lining up for a chance at the trough. Just legalize and let people grow their own. All drugs should be legal. Don’t agree well just read the book Chasing the Scream and review all the statistics on percentages of deaths caused by legal items verses deaths caused by the illegal ones.

Cyndysub, I agree with you!!! This was the exact point at which the movement began, then all the peasants cheered and said, “Cannabis is not so bad, at least we can have this!!!” I would like the chance to take the LSD of the 1960s when it was legal and potent. I had one pure experience thanks to Poet and Advocate Alan Ginsberg. These experiences are not even there once a year anymore, or they are somehow made with pesticides. The power of greed will make this one substance legal with all of the corporations that have sprung up, both real and faux industry!!!
