cannabutter cookies marijuana weedMerry Christmas from The Weed Blog! I have already been to three Christmas events between yesterday and today, and I still have two more to go (I have a big family). The first three were family friendly, so no cannabis treats were allowed. However, the next two are cannabis friendly, and so I am bringing many plates of various cookies. Below are the types of cookies I am bringing, and the recipes used to make them. If you have a solid cookie recipe, feel free to put it in the comments section:

Marijuana Oatmeal Cookie Recipe

There are many types of marijuana cookies out there, and they are pretty much all tasty. However, at or near the top of the list has to be oatmeal marijuana cookies. I don’t think that I have ever passed up a marijuana oatmeal cookie, for better or worse. Below is a great recipe of how to make marijuana oatmeal cookies:

Ingredients:

8 oz melted cannabis butter or oil
1 3/4 flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup raisins (whole or chopped)
3 1/2 cups rolled oats (old fashioned oatmeal)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a large bowl whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. In a separate bowl beat the cannabis butter or oil, brown sugar, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir the two mixtures together and add the raisins and rolled oats. Stir until mixture is smooth.

On two greased cookie sheets, spoon the dough about three inches apart and press dough to flatten. Bake until cookies are browned, usually about 7-10 minutes. Remove and let stand for 2 minutes. Remove cookies from sheet and allow to cool on a rack.

Easy Cannabutter Cookies Recipe

Below is another easy, fantastic recipe from our friends at Bald Brothers Cannabis Distillery. These are the marijuana version of butter cookies. We didn’t eat butter cookies all that often in my house growing up, but then again, they weren’t packed with cannabutter:

Ingredients:

1½ cups sifted all-purpose flour
½ cup cornstarch
½ cup white sugar
1 cup cannabutter

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Mix ingredients until well blended. Roll 2-inch sized pieces of dough into balls, and place on a well greased cookie sheet. Flatten each with the back of a fork. Bake 13-15 minutes until light brown.

Cannabis Cinnamon Roll Oatmeal Cookie Recipe

As someone who has a real soft spot for cinnamon rolls, I highly recommend this recipe! As usual, this recipe will not just cure your munchies but it’ll even get you higher than you were. Be careful! These treats are extremely addicting and may have you eating more than you want to if you don’t pay attention! These are especially good for the holiday season as presents for your friends and family!

Ingredients:

10 packets cinnamon roll instant oatmeal
1 cup of firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp baking soda
2 eggs
1 cup softened cannabutter
2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 white sugar
1/4 cup of water

Directions:

First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Mix in the butter and the sugars together until they’re a creamy consistency. Take the two eggs and beat them in. Then add in both the flour and the baking soda, stirring continuously. Then add in all of the oatmeal packets as well as the 1/4 cup of water. Stir everything together until mixed evenly. The mixture should be like cookie dough. Make small round balls out of the dough and place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake them in the oven for about 12 minutes, until they are golden brown. Remove the cookies from the sheet immediately and put them on a plate to cool off before enjoying!

That photo has given me such a flashback! My mum used to make biscuits exactly like that, haven’t thought about them in years! Pretty sure they were weed free though :)

How many cookies can you eat without over doing it. And how long does the butter last.
