What alot of pot smokers dont realize if legalized it would become a controlled substance and treated like alcohol is. The penalties of possessing will be stiffened and more harsh. As of now most west coast states have decriminalized "weed" and if found in possession most you would get is a fine meaning it would only be classified as a violation.
