Appearance: Average, reminded me of the standard “kind buds” we first saw in the mid ’90s (basic green, low to medium trich coverage).
Aroma: Sour eucalyptus.
Taste: Eucalyptus and dryer sheets, not earthy but harsh (way harsh from pipe).
Buzz Type: A sativa no doubt, that took me from a lazy irritable state to one of alertness and content. Sharp mind, useful conversation with extreme detail and musical inspiration. A robust strain yet never overwhelming. Gave me a smooth, linear experience and overall good feeling.
Buzz Length: Medium. 1.5 — 2 hours (mush shorter duration from vaporizer, 1 hour at longest)
Medicinal Use: (We are NOT doctors — personal opinion ONLY) Anxiety, stress, irritability and fatigue haven’t a chance against the Matanuska. No recollection of pain and was even able to clear a slight headache.
Overall: Though this one didn’t have the brute force that some prefer, it is a good Sativa/Indica mix with remarkable mood and spirit lifting qualities, a perfect choice for a day starter. A slight deduction for duration and harshness and differing effects across both reviewers and reviews kept this in the B range.
