I have an issue with the way the issue is being handled…the whole push to get weed legal is led by “it has medical properties” that may be true but at hand weed is not the biggest problem we have in america, and is shown to be less deadly than alcohol but yet alcohol is legal with very little restrictions, the push for medical marijuana is not the right route, I feel it should be viewed and regarded in the same manner as alcohol

I was against marijuana until I was introduced to it at the age of 25. Suffering from epilepsy all my life…I came to realize it relieves me from my seizure activity %100  better then any legal prescription I’ve ever been on..simply for the fact that I also suffer from crs lol and just cant remember to take it half the time. Changing my legal pill to liquid form however has made it easier for me to take not having to swallow a horse pill. although I do still forget a few times a week usually in the morning. Smoking right away in the morning after waking however keeps  me from having seizure activity during the day. Recently I relocated from the state of Colorado where it was soon after legalized after relocating. With being against it all my life and now finding out myself that its medical to me as well with what I suffer from. I feel it should pass in all states …especially after there are quite a few already that use it for medical:)ÂÂ

I suffer with cronic pain from an accident at a steel mill, my doctors prescribe me these meds. these meds cause nausua, im lethargic, sleepless, no appitite. So i smoke this joint and its almost like majic these symptoms subside, great i found this miracle drug that makes my life with all this pain a little more tollerable, So i go see my doctor and they do a drug screen to insure im taking the meds.(I do) the pot showes up and now im looked at like some kind of criminal with the threat of my meds cut off. The government has got these doctors so perinoid that its fuck this guy suffering in pain I need to cover my ass. My point Why is it anybodys business what i do to curb my pain. Let the sonbitches who make up these stupid laws to endure my kind of pain and let the pussies see how long they put up with it befor they put a bullet in there head to be free of pain.So If I want to smoke a joint to make my life a LITTLE more tollerable I WILL…
If your one of the lawmakers reading this I hope you never have to live life in serious cronic pain as I and millions of americans do, and I hope you open your eyes to a product of GOD and let it be despensed.

I had to respond to your message. My late husband was in the same situation. He lived in pain 24/7 and the meds did the same thing to him. He had to see their psych doctor for months just to keep his meds. Over 6 mts he dropped from 210lbs to 150lbs. Then I started using joints to help his appitite and nausea. He started slowly to gain weight. Many times I wished our lawmakers would experience his pain for a day. Bet laws would change quickly. Hope the laws change soon for you. Its a shame to live like a criminal when you havent done anything wrong. Good luck
