Topics include Finding and Attracting Capital, Deal Structures and Terms, and Risk Management and Due Diligence. It will be held on Tuesday, July 28, the day before the main Cannabis Creative Conference, from 1:30-5:00 p.m. The cost for this extra session is $129.

Cannabis Creative Conference to feature 60 speakers

The two-day Cannabis Creative Conference will host more than 600 business professionals, and more than 60 speakers will hold forums and panels to educate businesses about the emerging opportunities in the legalized marijuana industry. The cost is $99 for one day, $149 for both days ($295 after July 15), and attendees can register online.

“This conference will demonstrate a level of business professionalism we haven’t seen in the industry,” said William Simpson, founder of Chalice Farms, a grow equipment and cannabis consulting firm in Wilsonville, Oregon. “We’re bringing in everyone from Wall Street investors to successful, established experts in packaging, testing, banking and growing.”

The business-to-business conference will have keynotes, breakout sessions, a large partner exhibition hall, as well as many social gatherings and opportunities for one-on-one networking.

“If you want to talk to the industry leaders who already have boots on the ground — people who are on the leading edge of marketing, growing, creating edibles, oils and extracts — this conference will be the place to be,” Simpson said.

Yes these investors are the product of regulated and taxed marijuana .. A lot of marijuana ignorant people wanting to get huge returns from the sale of marijuana products and related products … I see just a few producers eventually in Oregon with high state fees for the permit .
Oregon has created a cartel to tax and regulate a free plant … So here come the politicians and their investors (sometimes the polatician themselves) to feather their nests and pave the way for future cartel revenue …. Where is Chris Chisty when ya need him ..
