Reminder – Attend The Women Grow Portland Chapter Launch Event
The Portland Chapter of the new industry organization Women Grow will be having their launch event early next month. This is going to be an outstanding opportunity for female entrepreneurs that want to succeed in Oregon’s next great industry. The Women Grow launch event will be a stellar opportunity to learn from others that are already in the industry.
It will also be a great networking event for those that are already in the industry. And in case the previously mentioned benefits don’t appeal to you, it will be a very fun place to hang out with like minded women that love cannabis. Leah Maurer will be there, and she’s easily one of the coolest, hardest working activists that I know.
Below is more about the event via the event’s Event Brite page, which is also where you can go to sign up. Space is limited, and I’m told tickets are almost sold out, so get them while you can:
We are so excited to announce the launch of the Portland Chapter of Women Grow! The purpose of Women Grow is to connect, educate and empower leaders in the cannabis industry. Our hope is that this launch will bring together women currently in leadership, and those wanting to learn from their experiences.
The event will be hosted at the beautiful and stunningly renovated McCormick Mansion on Salmon Street in SE Portland. The home has been generously donated for the event by Lee and Sarah Henderson.
Please note that this is a private home and the number of possible attendees is fixed. No tickets will be available at the door and no additional tickets will be issued once the event is sold out.
We plan to serve light refreshments and the whole evening will ride along on a soundtrack specially selected from Lee Henderson’s legendary record collection. Attire is up to you but don’t be afraid to dress up a little as we plan to make this a celebration of our launch!
We will post more information about speakers as we have it and welcome your participation as a sponsor or volunteer.
On behalf of myself, and my Co Chair Leah Maurer, I would like to express how excited we are to be bringing Women Grow to Portland and how much we are looking forward to seeing you at this wonderful event.
(Please be aware that there will be press at this event.)
