The Spring 2016 Marijuana Business Conference And Expo Is Coming To Florida
There are many, many marijuana industry events these days. Almost every day I hear about another one popping up. Not all business conferences are created equal. Marijuana Business Media, the company behind Marijuana Business Daily, puts on some of the best industry events that you will ever hear about. I gave their 2015 Marijuana Business Conference and Expo in Las Vegas ‘Event of the Year’ last year, and that wasn’t even a hard decision.
I attended the first Marijuana Business Conference, which took place in 2012 in Denver. To see how much the event has grown over the years is truly inspiring. The first event was attended by hundreds of people. Now there are thousands of people that come out to learn and network at the Marijuana Business Media events. In addition to the national event, Marijuana Business Media also puts on a Spring Conference. This year the event takes place May 9-11 in Orlando.
Florida will hopefully legalize medical marijuana in November. If so, a legal medical marijuana industry will be created overnight. Of course, if the 2016 campaign fails to win on Election Day, that will not happen, so if you are reading this, make sure to donate to the United for Care campaign early and often! A victory in Florida will be a win for the entire Southeastern region of the United States. That’s why I think this Spring Conference is such a great thing to consider attending if you live in the region.
I have never been to Florida. The farthest East I have been is Denver (I live in Oregon). But my birthday is on May 8, and as luck will have it, I will be in Orlando on vacation. I’m definitely going to try to swing by the conference to see if I can provide some coverage. Keynote speakers include demographics pioneer Chuck Underwood, John Morgan from the United for Care campaign, and Marijuana Business Daily Editor Chris Walsh. There are dozens of other world class speakers participating in the conference, many of which I respect a lot.
If you are looking to learn more about the emerging cannabis industry and to network with top industry members, you should really give a strong consideration to attending this conference and expo. There is a $100 discount on registration through April 28th. You can find out more about the event at this link here, and register at this link here.
