Arkansas medical marijuanaFrom the Arkansas medical marijuana campaign:

The holidays are upon us and even though we have yet to be fully sponsored, we have a lot to be thankful for this year! We’ve collected nearly 7,000 signatures for the Arkansas Medical Cannabis Act—and with more than 300 volunteers across the state working to gather signatures and raise awareness, we’re off to a good start to reach the 2014 ballot.

Holidays are a great time to talk with family and friends about the Arkansas Medical Cannabis Act! Here are a few ways you can help put medical cannabis on the 2014 Arkansas ballot!

6 Ways to Promote the AMCA during the Holidays:

  1. MAKE SURE YOU & YOUR FRIENDS ARE PROPERLY REGISTERED TO VOTE!
You must be a registered Arkansas voter to sign the AMCA. Ask if anyone needs to update their Arkansas voter registration information or register to vote. You can even check your voter status online. Download the Arkansas Voter Registration forms here. TIP: Bring a few postage stamps with you to ensure the forms make it into the mail!
  2. TALK ABOUT MEDICAL CANNABIS
Have a real conversation about medical cannabis & the AMCA. Here are some great talking points and common arguments!
  3. SIGN THE AMCA & BRING A FRIEND
Visit one of our signing locations or contact a regional field director to set up a signing time! TIP: Bring a friend!
  4. ATTEND AN EVENT
We’re making plans in many different areas of the state. Join one of these events—and invite your friends!
Nov 30: Releaf Arkansas: A Benefit for the AMCA (NLR)
        • Dec. 2: Little Rock Town Hall on Medical Cannabis (LR)
        • Dec. 7: AR Compassion Day Signature Drive (Arkansas)
        • Dec. 7: Jimmy Buffett Tailgate (NLR)
  5. MAKE A DONATION: GIVE A LITTLE. GET A LOT!
Give the gift of support this holiday! Make a donation of $25 or more and receive an official AMCA t-shirt as our gift to you! Special order custom items and quantities: Call Melissa Fults at (501) 416-0148!
  6. VOLUNTEER TO HELP!
Grab a buddy and volunteer to start up your neighborhood. The more folks we have canvassing for signatures, the sooner we’ll be on the ballot! Make sure to sign up to volunteer here, then contact your regional field director and let ‘em know you’re ready to help!

Best wishes for a happy and healthy holiday season!  Together we’ll make a difference and bring an accessible—and affordable—medical cannabis program to Arkansas!
