ncia cannabis business summitGoing to marijuana events is one of my favorite things to do. If I had enough money, I would travel the country going from marijuana event to marijuana event. Occasionally I get lucky enough to go to one, and I treasure every minute of it.

My favorite events involve panels where experts talk about cultivation, business, activism, etc. A good event has solid panels with true experts in their field of study. A good event also has quality vendors and usually quality, big name music acts. There will be more cannabis industry events in 2014 than in any other year on record. Everyone and their grandma is trying to get in on the Green Rush right now, and if you don’t know a lot about marijuana, attending an event is a good place to start your research.

If you have never been to a marijuana event before, you should really consider attending one of the events below. If there is an event that you think should be added to the list, feel free to send me an e-mail. Check back often, as I’ll be adding events to this list as they are brought to my attention:

I wonder why High Times has so many Cannabis Cups.

    •

      people like them!!

    •

Think of them as really big wine-tasting contests. :D

      •

I think I’d last longer at the weed cups. Wine tastings, not so much LOL.

        •

Speaking of cups, have you tried the new Butterfinger cups? They’re like Reese’s but with smooth, creamy Butterfinger inside the chocolate. (Why can’t Butterfinger buy ad space on TWB?)

Boy…if they were smart they would! Frito-Lay needs to expand their advertising horizons here as well. I wonder who will be the first big corp to realize this market and make the move.
