A lot has happened in Oregon lately when it comes to marijuana policy. There are new medical marijuana reporting requirements, new proposed limits for recreational edibles, and a bunch of other stuff. Understanding all of it can be difficult. That’s why I’m going to try as hard as I can to make it to the Oregon Quarterly Cannabis Caucus this month, put on by the National Cannabis Industry Association (NCIA). In addition to learning, the event will be a great opportunity to network with other like minded people chasing the same visions and dreams as you. I have been to a handful of NCIA events now, and every one of them was awesome and left me feeling more excited than before I had attended the event. NCIA’s Quarterly Cannabis Caucus events are held in the cannabis industry’s 12 most active regions during the first month of each new quarter, and in Oregon will take place in Portland on the second Tuesday of January, April, July, and October.
