Sensible Colorado and Sensible Colorado Action are proud members of the large coalition supporting the Campaign to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol. The campaign is holding a “boot camp” on March 18 to teach volunteers from around the state how to be effective advocates for the initiative. If you are interested in being actively involved in this historic campaign, you don’t want to miss it!
Register today for 2012 Campaign Boot Camp!
Now that the initiative to regulate marijuana like alcohol has qualified for the ballot, the campaign has exactly eight months to get its message out to Colorado voters and make sure they are ready to vote YES on Amendment 64 this November.

To get things rolling, we are holding a huge volunteer boot camp on Sunday, March 18, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Casselman’s in Denver (2620 Walnut St.).
If you are interested in getting involved and helping the campaign we strongly encourage you to attend this important event. Space is limited and registration is required so click here to register and reserve your spot today!

At the boot camp we will go over the campaign’s game plan, show you some of the resources that will be made available to you, and provide you with useful materials that you can take back to both your community to use yourself and provide to others.
This will be a volunteer-driven grassroots campaign and we need as many people as possible to get involved at the local level to carry out activities that will build support for ending marijuana prohibition.Attending the 2012 campaign boot camp is a critical first step, so please register today!

For those who are not in the metro area, if you were ever going to make a trip to Denver to get involved with the campaign, this would be a really good time to do it. But do not worry if you cannot make it. There will be more opportunities to get the information and materials we will be providing, as our goal is to work with local activists to organize events around the state throughout the campaign.
Attention women! Just prior to the boot camp there will be a one-hour seminar and light lunch from noon to 1 p.m., during which we will specifically address the importance of outreach to women voters and discuss some plans for moving forward. To sign up for this special session, please be sure to check the appropriate box when you register on-line for the boot camp.

* We are looking for a select group of sponsors to help us cover the costs of this event and the materials we will be distributing. For details, please send us an e-mail or call us at 303-861-0033. *
