feds raid dispensaryFederal Government Files Three More Lawsuits Against Medical Marijuana Dispensary Property Owners

The federal government raided two medical marijuana dispensaries in Orange County yesterday morning, in conjunction with three lawsuits filed against property owners where the dispensaries were located. According to the Orange County Register, “Officials with the U.S. Attorney’s Office on Tuesday also said warning letters were sent to a total of 66 marijuana operations in the cities of Anaheim and La Habra, part of a 10-month coordinated effort by federal authorities targeting not just the owners of medical marijuana dispensaries, but the property owners who lease space to the continually controversial shops.” The dispensary owners and landlords have 14 days to comply.

I will never forget the first time I saw and held a federal order to cease operations. It was at a collective here in Oregon, and it gave me chills up and down my spine. As with just about every collective/dispensary that has ever been harassed by the feds, the establishment I was at had done nothing wrong according to state law. There had never been a break in or any nuisance reported in anyway. Most dispensaries/collectives are located in buildings that would otherwise have been vacant for months or years on end. There needs to be a larger outcry against actions like this, outside of the marijuana community. I would like to see local business owners that are neighbors go to bat for the dispensaries involved in federal lawsuits.

The dispensaries involved in the lawsuits are:

503 N. Anaheim Blvd., where AAA Wellness Center and Anaheim Patients Association operated

2601 W. Ball Road, where a medical marijuana store named Releaf Health & Wellness was located.

3148-3164 E. La Palma Ave., where three marijuana stores are alleged to have been located: Premium Organic Treatments PCA, Mid-County Patients Association and DKG Group Corp.

Several experts have agreed to speak about how businesses can respond to – and hopefully avoid – these threats at the upcoming National Marijuana Business Conference in a panel discussion titled “When the Feds Come Knocking: Handling Raids, Civil Forfeitures & Other Attacks.” MMJ Business Daily, which is hosting the event, is offering a 50% discount on tickets through Aug. 31.

Kindly watch the Drug War Clock as it ticks away all our hard earned tax dollars:

Now try the US Debt Clock: http://www.usdebtclock.org/

Alcohol prohibition in the US ran from 1919—1933

Where you aware that “The Great Wall Street Crash” happened during this period?

During alcohol prohibition, all profits went to enrich thugs and criminals. Young men died every day on inner-city streets while battling over turf. A fortune was wasted on enforcement that could have gone on treatment. On top of the budget-busting prosecution and incarceration costs, billions in taxes were lost. Finally the economy collapsed. Sound familiar?

To support prohibition you have to be either totally ignorant, totally stupid, totally brainwashed, totally insane, or totally corrupt.

If you have liberty then expect prosperity!

A last ditch effort from the minority who voted “no” on prop 215
The genie is out of the bottle , and the “poison pill” backfired on LA citycouncil
    Now they beg the FEDS
luckily for cannabis patients and the brave providers they will never remove cannabis from society and as you will see the amount of money being wasted on prohibition is not sustainable.
The day has come when we cant afford the prohibition of drugs especially cannabis , but they keep spending.

Pro-pot legalization advocates fail to realize how much money is brought in by asset forfeiture and the fact that our country is facing debt levels that according to the C.B.O. will require 100% of income in tax to pay our interest on national debt by 2024. Absolutely nothing, no program anywhere in the country that brings in money will ever be stopped; in fact, it will be expanded in every way possible. You cannot fire 150,000 people working in federal law enforcement and you cannot stop the war on drugs. RAND did a study that is now in implemented an in phase one creating our first national federal police force who’s sole job is to enforce any federal rule, regulation or law anywhere in America. They plan on hiring 150,000 agents. It won’t be getting better for you-ever.
