Jim Gray — the 2012 Libertarian Vice Presidential candidate and former presiding judge of the Orange County, California Superior Court — will be speaking about the problems with prohibition at four campaign events in Missouri this week.

First, in Saint Louis, Judge Gray will be speaking at Big Daddy’s in Soulard on Sunday, and Show-Me Cannabis Regulation Executive Director John Payne will be one of the introductory speakers. That event will start at noon and run until 2:00 P.M. It is a free event, but please RSVP here if you would like to attend to give the organizers an accurate head count.

Judge Gray will then travel west across the state. He will stop in Columbia to speak at the Quality Inn at 1612 N. Providence from 4:00 to 4:30 P.M. You can find the Facebook event page for that event here. Judge Gray will end Sunday in Warrensburg, where he will speak at the University of Central Missouri from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. The event will take place in Room 235 of Elliott Union, located at 500 South Holden Street.

Finally, on Monday, Judge Gray will be eating dinner and speaking at the Westport Flea Market Bar and Grill in Kansas City from 5:30 to 9:30 P.M. You can RSVP for that event on Facebook here. If you are able to attend any of these events, you should not miss your chance to hear Judge Gray explain how his experience as a judge led him to oppose prohibition!

Please note that Show-Me Cannabis Regulation does not endorse any candidates. However, Judge Gray has made ending prohibition a central plank of his campaign and his entire career as an activist, so we are happy to inform our supporters about his events in Missouri. We will gladly inform our supporters about any event where people are speaking out about the need to end cannabis prohibition regardless of the political affiliation of the participants.
