People suffering from PTSD, especially veterans, deserve to use medical marijuana to treat their health issue. Anyone who says otherwise lacks compassion. Below is information about a petition to add PTSD to the list of qualifying conditions for the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program. Please sign it today!
To be delivered to: The Oregon State House and The Oregon State Senate
Please support SB 281, which will allow our veterans and others suffering from PTSD to qualify for medical marijuana under the OMMA.
Our veterans and other victims of trauma are dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) on a daily basis. Despite studies showing the effectiveness of medical marijuana in controlling traumatic memories, it is not a qualifying condition under the Oregon Medical Marijuana Act (OMMA). Senate Bill 281 would change this and we need to support its passage.
“You have not a clue how much a person feels relief from the intake of medical marijuana. And you should know if you want less of them to commit suicide, this is the LEAST you could do for them at this point and time. They gave their lives and body parts, and mental/emotional state. What are you ready to return to them? When will you ask them what we can do for them? Not a bunch of stupid circus freak side shows, but something that lasts, and actually helps. Bring our soldiers home safe and bring on the mental emotional support they so deserve. By personal usage I can tell you with my PTSD and other ailments, it has done wonders, no Dr could ever do.”
