I’m very excited to announce a new organization that we have been talking to. The National Cannabis Coalition is doing things that I haven’t seen other organizations doing, BIG things. I always tell organizations to put their money where their mouth is, and The National Cannabis Coalition is ready to step to the plate. I often share much needed ideas and observations with other organizations only to see nothing happen. Yet, when I shared the obvious with the leaders at the National Cannabis Coalition, they jumped right on board.

I’m not trying to bash other organizations, because that’s not our style, but I do want to highlight organizations when I see them doing big things, and the National Cannabis Coalition is the epitome of ‘going big.’ The reception has been good so far, just look at how many Facebook ‘likes’ they have received in less then two weeks. If you haven’t heard of the National Cannabis Coalition yet, keep that name at the forefront of your mind, because I guarantee you will start hearing it over and over.

I know that I’m excited to see what the National Cannabis Coalition has planned for the future, and TWB readers should be too. Below is more information about the National Cannabis Coalition taken from their website:

The National Cannabis Coalition supports sensible cannabis policies based upon science and not upon fear and propaganda. We work with groups and cannabis activists across the country who are striving to improve cannabis laws and policies.

We hope to end cannabis prohibition because the War on Cannabis and the so-called War on Drugs are futile policies that do much more harm than good. The better term is ‘Prohibition War,’ as prohibition causes more societal ills than cannabis or other drugs. Just as alcohol prohibition gave rise to Al Capone, today’s Prohibition War enriches crime organizations across the globe. The better strategy is to treat all drug use as a health issue, enact regulatory policies which generate revenue, and preserve law enforcement resources for serious and violent crimes.

We need YOU to help us end this war, because cannabis won’t legalize itself. The prohibition of cannabis and hemp has the backing of powerful special interests that have used all necessary means to keep this plant illegal, even resorting to racist, bigoted propaganda and lobbying for laws that are bankrupting our communities, unnecessarily ruining lives and making our neighborhoods more dangerous.

Please join our list to stay up-to-date with the latest information. If you can afford to do so, please make a donation to the cause today or become a certified cannabis activist by making a monthly pledge that will support positive cannabis and hemp law reforms across the country. With your support, we will spread the truth about cannabis and hemp, and someday, the truth shall set us all free.
